WHAT IS A CABINET SIGN?
“Cabinet Sign” is a general term for a traditional box type sign made up of a face and a back or a double sided cabinet with two faces with internal LED illumination. Faces can range from simple plastic faces to vacuum formed embossed faces to flexible vinyl faces to metal faces with push-thru letters.
SINGLE FACE CABINET SIGN
Built with a steel or aluminum frame and then skinned with aluminum sheeting on all sides and back, depth can vary.
DOUBLE FACED CABINET SIGN
Built with a steel or aluminum frame and then skinned with aluminum sheeting on all sides, depth can vary.
ROUTED AND PUSH-THRU CABINET SIGN
A Routed push-through cabinet displays letters or logos with 1/2″ – 1″ acrylic sheeting that protrudes through the aluminum sign face. This allows the light to penetrate through the letters only (since the aluminum face is opaque). This style gives letters and logos depth since they are only pushed through the routed areas of the face.
MULTI-TENANT CABINET SIGN
Built with a steel or aluminum frame and then skinned with aluminum sheeting on all sides with aluminum divider bars for allowing multiple faces, depth can vary.
